It’s usually an icon that looks like a photograph or a piece of paper that’s been ripped in half. ![]() In the Google Chrome web browser, the above picture shows what a broken image typically looks like on a web page. If you’re not familiar with file systems, you may want to read my previous article about working with files and folders before moving on. ![]() This can be caused by a couple of different problems, but fortunately, it’s easy to fix. If you’ve ever created a website using HTML and had an image not show up or a picture that you can’t see, you have what’s called a broken image.
